NEWS: New Automated HLTV Service LAUNCHED! HLTV.SteamID.com - This does automated demo recording, demo archiving, even INGAME SteamID lookups! Check it out. (11/12/2004) NEWS 3/10/2006: CEVO results now included! NEWS 1/24/2005: This site now uses CAL's XML feed to gather its data, which ensures that everyone should be listed properly. CAL updates this information every night at 4AM central, which I am somewhat skeptical of, but this is the best method of updating our site's data. NEWS 1/16/2005: The SteamID IRC Bot has been updated so it searches player handles and team IRC channels by using '@steamid handle' and '@steamid #channel'. You can download the SteamID IRC Bot here for use in your own channel! NEWS 9/04/2004: Good news -- SteamID.com is back in operation like it should be. Since CAL remade its site, I had to reprogram the site to fetch the proper results from CAL's website. It's now back up and running... enjoy! NEWS 3/31/2004: SteamID.com will use the March 29th SteamID listings until the playoffs are over. This ensures that every team that finished the season will be represented in the current listings. NEWS 3/19/2004: SteamID.com now gathers and outputs more information than before, including Tag, Location, and Division. NEWS 3/18/2004: Since the CAL website was down this morning, the database has not yet been updated to reflect last night's matches. If you ever notice 0 SteamIDs in the database, please contact me (MeLt`pneumo) in #melt in the future so I can fix it. For the time being, yesterday's listings are being used. NEWS 3/16/2004: The Rcon Notification Tool has been updated. It now returns non-matches, listing the players in the server that did not match up with the database. Now you won't have to compare the list of matches with the scoreboard to see who wasn't detected. NEWS 3/10/2004: The CAL website is down again, so the SteamID records have not been updated since last night's matches. The SteamID listings have been reverted to the listings gathered early Tuesday morning. When the CAL website is back up, the listings will be updated as soon as possible. NEWS 3/05/2004: I have released an official SteamID.com IRC bot, which prints out results in response to "@steamid <number>" text. To try it out, go to #melt and say "@steamid your_steamid_here". You can download the SteamID IRC Bot here for use in your own channel! NEWS 3/02/2004: The CAL website has been down since late last night (3/1), which resulted in 0 SteamIDs being listed in the database. SteamID.com's database has been reverted back to March 1st, 2004's listings. Use this site to verify valid SteamIDs for your matches if CAL's website is still down. NEWS 2/18/2004: Added "Announce Results" option to the Rcon Notification Tool. Some people didn't want the results to be sent to their server via rcon text (for instance, a public server), so this gives them that option. It's enabled by default, so everyone can see for themselves each other's CAL info! :) NEWS 2/06/2004: New Rcon Notification Tool available! This tool allows quick checking of SteamIDs from within your server, announcing the lookup results to everyone in the server in Rcon text. This will be useful for scrims or matches where you don't want to waste time manually checking SteamIDs. (And no, we don't log any of the Rcon passwords, so relax.) NEWS 1/08/2004: Database expanded to support the new CAL-Premier CS division. Also, it is no longer necessary to type 0:0: or 0:1: in front of the SteamID you are searching. If you leave out the colons, it will automatically search for both 0:0:yournumber and 0:1:yournumber. Also, searches by SteamID are now exact-only (ex: 0:0:123 will no longer match 0:0:12345). Total of 5545793 searches run since 11/25/2003 All coding by pneumo (idling in #hltvtool). Original WonID Database site: http://www.ytrack.com/wonid.html | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
